This is one of those must haves, especially during these crazy times, with COVID-19 and the flu we all have to deal with.
Our digital thermometer recently stopped working so we were on the hunt for a replacement. There are so many options out there to choose from, and we’re sure they are all very capable and reliable. But after looking at several different options, versions, price points, design and features, we landed on this infrared digital thermometer by Famidoc, purchased on Amazon.com.
We’re not familiar with this particular brand, but we were drawn to it for a few different reasons.
1. Price: At the time of this post, it cost $26.99 on Amazon. This cost was in the mid-range of the other we looked at, with prices ranging from $9.99 to $49.75. So, not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either.
2. Ease of Use: Just one button and one second to determine temperature. Yep, that’s it.
3. Design: We love the contemporary design where they integrated the display into the actual casing. At first you may think there’s some mistake since the readout or digital screen isn’t visible. But once you take the temperature, it appears like magic. It almost makes taking your temp fun. Almost.
4. Dual Choice: We especially love that this can be use on the forehead or ear. Our previous one was only for the ear, so we were continually having to purchase cover caps. The added expense and waste were two negatives we looked to avoid. With the forehead measurement, we solve both issues.
While this may not be on your radar for things to buy, it’s definitely one of those items you’ll be glad you have when you need it. You can find it here, on Amazon.
