If you’re looking for a cool vibe, great place for conversation, delectable grub, and a vast selection of wine, homemade beers and more, check out Station Craft Brewery + Kitchen. It’s a great culmination of design, flavor, imbibe and energy, and is conveniently located in charming Dana Point.
We invited our entire family and found something for everyone. The extensive Happy Hour menu more than satisfied our hunger and thirst for a really cool place to hang out. After mulling over the rather large drink list, we ordered several drafts and a few guest taps to divvy at the table. Even the under-age kids created “virgin” adaptations of some wildly creative drinks! Shareables, burgers, and beer-battered fish & chips were scarfed down before we knew it! Spoiler alert: Order two plates of nachos! They’re the best we’ve ever had.
Soon after, the you-won’t-want-to-miss desserts arrived to completely satiate our appetites. We shared two orders of the cream filled churro served with Pop Rock chocolate sauce (yum), and the caramel brownie cheesecake loaded with chocolate sauce, bourbon caramel and fresh berries (scrumptious combined favorites)!
The ambiance has a casual, yet refined feel, with polished concrete floors, big screen TV’s and black pendant lighting. And our favorite detail is the old-school train station flip boards that periodically change to reveal various specials, menu items and catchy phrases. Loved this so much we’re tempted to get one for ourselves. We can’t wait to go back…no reservations (pun intended)!
